St Peter's Church of England Primary School

Extra Curricular Provision

In addition to the lessons delivered during the school day, and enrichment activities such as residential stays and school trips, we also offer as broad a range of extra-curricular clubs as is possible. Staff, and some parents, give of their time freely to provide these clubs. What we offer is augmented by a small number of private providers who run additional clubs at various times of the year.

Children are able to participate in as many clubs as they wish. However, if clubs are oversubscribed, priority will be given to those not attending other clubs. Places are not allocated on a first come first served basis. There will be a period when we receive requests for places and once closed, we will allocate them.

The clubs listed are provided free of charge by school staff or volunteers, however some clubs may require a small donation from parents for resources. Private, external, private providers will charge for the clubs they offer.

We are now confirming what provision we can offer for 2024-25. This will be finalized in the first few weeks of term 1. We will update the table below as we go along. It currently shows what provision is already confirmed. We will contact the parent body to let you know when we are able to apply for places.

We will confirm the days of each club. We will obviously try to avoid running too many on the same day, to avoid clashes, but this depends on the afternoons when teachers are available.
